5.4km loop race. Managed 7 laps out and finished in 5th spot. Leg were a little tired towards the end and it was another hot and humid day in Sydney but happy with overall consistent effort.

Ran with a buddy today who's a little faster than me at the moment and ended up going a little longer than planned (who would have thought i'd do more than what's planned) Felt good, ran well and should be a good week of running.

Not the best day to run a long run 27 degrees at 5:30am made a hot start. Did 10km easy before heading to a local race to add up the distance - Sydney Trail Series 21km which I ran conservative. Finished with a 7km cool down to total 38km which was over 3hrs 41minutes (3hrs 21 minute running time) Was absolutely broken from the heat so pulled it early. An afternoon of recovery!
