Walk/hike warm up/down 1:00:00 [1]

Took my 5 yr. old niece, Claudia and 3.5 yr. old nephew, Cole on a hike to the rocky spur on Mt. Misery VF. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a hike! Had a picnic up there and on the walk down, they were very reluctant to leave the woods! That's OK, FCE tomorrow with them!

TaeBo 25:00 [3]

Managed to squeeze this in at the end of the afternoon! Claudia and Cole tried to keep up, but soon tired and were quite content to simply watch the video and me!

(rest day)

No exercise possible with the babysitting weekend that is upon me! Will have fun though - went miniature golfing!

stretching/yoga warm up/down 40:00 [2]

Morning warm-up before the morning workout! TNT to follow this eve.

TaeBo 25:00 [4]

Always a good complement!

Run 1:00:00 [4]

This TNT I'm rating a bit higher than normal because I ran at Angelica pace, talking all the way (which is saying something!) and then at Dasha pace (tried anyway) up the red hill! Yikes, can she run. Her name should be changed from the Dabbler to Dash or something similar! She blew Angelica and I away! For me, that hill was my SofA! Excellent run - and excellent Sandy B-day celebration - a very nice party crowd!

(rest day)

Regrettably and not intended, but the day got away from me much too quickly. Plan to double up tomorrow. I'll call it an "Alison workout"! : )

Run 48:00 [3] 5.0 mi (9:36 / mi)

Had a great TNT run with Alison, Dasha and Sandy. Alison was determined to hang in for the 5 even though this would have been her 3rd workout for the day! At first, I thought that I wanted to do intervals, but we started out strong and decided to keep a really consistent pace instead. I think we individually and collectively did quite well. That's what TNT is all about! Don't know the exact time, but we were definitely between 9:30 and 10:00 min. pace. Maintaining the flow of conversation was the "accurate" indicator : )

stretching/yoga warm up/down 40:00 [3]

I always like to combine this with the aerobics of tae-bo when I have the time. Had to push myself to do this as I was somewhat unmotivated today, but was very glad when I did!

TaeBo tempo 25:00 [4]

Enough said previously!

orienteering 1:20:00 [3]

As noted already, terrain training at FCN with Tom, Sandy, Vadim and Eric. Mistakes already documented ... however, the point to point was okay in that I've been sloppy lately. Needed the terrain running with no particular destination or "reading" for speed consistency. It's one thing to do trail runs, intervals, etc. but once I'm in the woods but speed drops considerably. Not good.
