Running warm up/down 15:00 [2] 2.5 km (6:00 / km)

Orienteering race 1:43:48 [5] 11.3 km (9:11 / km) +240m 8:18 / km

Had better races. 2 was a good route choice for my fitness ability and meant that I could plan my routes ahead. Turning off the track I had some very unnecessary hesitation due to the red and blue tape that I had heard people talk about before the race (I was worried it was out of bounds even though I knew and had even seen a sign about the out of bounds, but mines!). Slight wrong bearing to 5, I went too far left, I lost focus more than I realized as I was running on the road . 6-7 I knew would be tough, the last part of it I drifted too far right (was expecting the marshes to have water in them as the previous ones did, but there was not. Ran to the next valley where there was more detail to relocate myself. Was pretty tired going to 9, also tripped and knocking my head on the ground, somehow managed to cut the inner part of my ear, anyway had to walk a bit after this as my head felt kinda funny. Misread control description for 11, first time I read it as the top of the ditch then re read the control description as the bottom of the ditch -.- Took my bearing to 12 of a box that wasn't mapped when all the other boxes were :/ Had a clean run to finish.

Ended up walking a lot more than I would have liked. My goal for this race was to maintain map contact, I feel like i Managed to do this most legs (with varying degree of accuracy) the only leg I didn't do this for was the second half of leg 6-7, in hindsight I should've taken it a lot slower and been more exact with my bearing.

Definitely feel like my fitness let me down.

Swimming 1:00:00 [3]

Not quite the workout planned for today. I'm really not a fan of the sun setting at 4:25pm or the high temperature for the day being -1°C. Hoping its just a shock to the system and I will adjust soon enough (probably going to be easier if i actually get out and run though :/)

Core 10:00 [3]

Usual

Note

On the brighter side....Today was my last day at physio, woooo.

Some of my close friends back home sent me a package and it arrived today, although I can't open it until wednesday, but still exciting

Running 26:54 [3] 5.18 km (5:12 / km)

Its been snowing/hailing/raining on and off since friday arvo -.- winter has arrived :(. Motivation was lacking today so I just did an easy run, to convince myself that running in the cold and snow isn't half bad
