Walked around Castle Hill Basin for a couple of hours on my field trip, pace was pr slow. Went for an easy run along the railway tracks. Its nice running in the hills.

Focus on bearings and distance estimation. Took the training easy as I only got 3 and a half hours sleep the night before and was super tired.

Flat ride around Linton, pretty windy.

5x5 min hard with 2 min jog between. struggled to get in the groove for the first three, but felt good on the last two

Walked out from Mangatoetoe Hut in the morning, was a pleasant walk

Felt super tired today. Not motivated at all. But after a nap I managed to drag myself out to the Massey trails and do a loop round there, included some hills

Grabbed a course of the Massey sprint from the anzac weekend comp a few years ago, grouped the controls up and did 3 intervals, was fun. Need to work on some of the trickier map reading in the circle but yeah pretty happy with it.

Felt super tired today, so did an easy run along Cape Palliser road from Cape Palliser toward Ngawi, stopped to look at the seals about 1.5km in. Had a strong head wind most of the way. Had a swim in the Cook Straight afterwards :)

Walked into Mangatoetoe hut for the night. Fly camped by the river and explored the area. I enjoyed being back in the hills
