9 AM

Orienteering (Sprint) 25:53 [3] ** 4.3 km (6:01 / km) +48m 5:42 / km
23c (sick) shoes: KAYI-L RB9X

Second race of Sprint Camp.
Not of my legs went badly, but I could've chosen better routes for controls 6, 7, 10, 15, 21(maybe?), and 23. I took a less ideal route of 15 because my coach was right in front of me, taking the best route, and I didn't want to be following him.
11 AM

Orienteering 40:00 [0] ** 3.0 km (13:20 / km)
8c (sick) shoes: KAYI-L RB9X

Training focused on route choice. Did this with Siri, Julia, and Thomas, so we could each take one route and see which was fastest. We did the training at a walk to ensure a pretty uniform speed between all four of use. We also only did eight of the 11 available controls because we were running late.
1 PM

Orienteering (Farsta!) 22:00 [4] ** 3.6 km (6:07 / km)
25c (sick) shoes: KAYI-L RB9X

Chaos! All went very well until the middle of the last loop, when the chaos got to me. I found control three before control two, but got back on track quickly.
4 PM

Orienteering race (Relay) 20:00 [4] *** 2.8 km (7:09 / km)
16c (sick) shoes: KAYI-L RB9X

There were two playgrounds on this map-- I managed to run through both of them. Both had those nice round little pebbles, which mixed with the slush and the snow to make a pleasant, quicksand-like running surface.

Orienteering 32:00 [1] *** 3.5 km (9:09 / km)
15c (sick) shoes: Asics GT-2000

First training of Sprint Camp. Involved a Line-O and a corridor.
I did this training with Siri, Julia, and Thomas. We took turns leading to the next point.
4 PM

Orienteering race (Sprint) 22:42 [3] *** 4.2 km (5:24 / km) +38m 5:10 / km
19c (sick) shoes: KAYI-L RB9X

First race of Sprint Camp!

Orienteering race (Sprint) 22:42 [4] *** 4.2 km (5:24 / km) +38m 5:10 / km
19c (sick) shoes: KAYI-L RB9X

First race of Sprint Camp! My navigation went very well, but my physical fitness held me back, partly due to sickness and partly due to a lack of physical training recently.
This was also my first time orienteering in the snow! It was not as technically difficult as I expected, but-- again-- the physical aspect was a challenge.
