This was probably the toughest TM work out I have done as far as how
challenging it was. I almost had to stop halfway to recover.
It was a lot harder of a work out than Run 2 Flat VO2 Max.
I was actually almost always at my VO2 max heart-rate during run 3.
What I noticed is that each time I start off running at not even a fast pace and in particular running slightly uphill I am immediately so challenged.
This happened on Sunday when I tagged along for a run and my friend immediately jogged uphill without any difficulty.
It was that same frustration with the uphills I have encountered during races where I literally have no leg power and seem to bonk.
Maybe still a carb deficit issue?
