1st time running with another trail runner and a fast one!
Challenged me ! He adjusted his pace but for some reason I always seem to struggle so much with even a 9:00 pace in the first half hour of a run.
Today I almost felt like a bonk feeling. My quads felt burned out so fast.
Felt better after a gel and I am thinking I might need to up my carb intake pre-run.
1500" vert.
Snowy conditions about 10" but still runnable just harder effort.
