spiked:11/14c shoes: inov8 mudclaw 300

the first 5 controls went really smooth but then the 2 long legs after that were shocking poor route choice to 6 led me to end up in a waist deep bog (neck deep on sunley) number 7 was good route choice, i went along the paths and i felt really good running, when i came of the path i ended up being pushed to far south due to loads of fallen down trees, bit of a nightmare, was too far south on 9 again ended up getting sucked into Niamhs route even tho she was on a different course and going to a different control, good one Louis. after that was fine, running well

Round the blue with family friends, got to go at my own pace at some points

First time river kayaking in a while, some pretty techy rapids, didn't capsize tho so I'm chuffed with that

was windy as owt, so hard to surf with waves that big, did a lot of swimming but did get a few good surfs
