Hmmm... If others from ROC wanted to, I could see some interest in a "ROC House" for the week. We did one long ago in Lake Placid and had a great time.
[Now to convince the family that it counts as a vacation...]

The Town of Craftsbury, the Craftsbury Outdoor Center (COC), and the organizing committee invite you to attend the March 2018 week of ski-orienteering races. This area of Vermont is known for its welcoming and friendly people, farm-fresh food, and abundance of snow in the winter. We are excited to host this event in our special part of Northeastern Vermont and the United States of America.
Even for those NOT competing at this world class event, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a week of scenic Nordic skiing, exciting spectating of world class competitors, and a chance to try out ski-orienteering in world class terrain. After the races, you can enjoy the new activity center joined by fellow orienteers and share the famous meals from the COC’s kitchen. There is a range of accommodations onsite for individuals and families. You can also enjoy excursions to the quaint nearby town of Craftsbury Common and explore the hub of Vermont’s localvore culture: visit cheesemakers, breweries, distilleries, and other artisans.
So plan your vacation now. Craftsbury is about 90 min from the Burlington airport, 2.5 hours from Montreal, and 3.5 hours from Boston Logan Airport.
