Score-O at Ellison w Rachael, she had the lead.

Interesting to act as coach on an event, and we decided to get the controls S of Blossom.

Order: 118, 121, 122, 123, 124, 120, 119, 111, 102, 101, 113, 112, 110.

Talked about having a strategy to go furthest first, then come back, the last cluster was optional depending.

121, 122, and 123 reasonable - and gave us a guide, we did them in 22 minutes. Got to talk about counting along the vegetation to know when to climb to 122. Her number was not what I had suggested might be reasonable, but we saw the re-entrant in front of it.

Then back down and climbed to 124 - had skipped it before to save climb. Once up on that plateau, down to 120. On the way back, counting again to know when to branch off for 119. (number was the same as she actually got for the vegetation before) Fun part - the dude that blew by us on the trail to 119. We met him coming back later when we were descending to the creek;-)

Then out across Blossom, and along the road for the controls there. Time check showed 10 minutes left - and we went for 113. Came down and still had 5 minutes - enough time to pick up 112 and 110 on the final leg. Finished in 59:13, so feeling good about that.

No navigation errors. Pace was a fast walk at most times. 13th place, so about the top third.
