Exercises (Rock Climbing) 2:30:00 [3]

Rock night - not so motivated. But did get up all 4 walls skipped the week before. They are definitely the toughest of the 5.7s, and doing them took a lot out. Total of 5 5.7s, 2 5.6s, 1 5.5.

Tuesday Jul 23 #

Orienteering race 15:41 [3] 2.1 km (7:28 / km)
shoes: Merrell All Out Peak #1

RIT Sprint - B.

Orienteering 14:56 [3] 2.1 km (7:07 / km)
shoes: Merrell All Out Peak #1

RIT Sprint - C.

Orienteering 17:45 [3] 2.2 km (8:04 / km)
shoes: Merrell All Out Peak #1

RIT Sprint - A.

Even had a couple fast legs - #2 and #3 on 8 & 9. Now - potential for an issue here in the sense - is it legal to stick your hand through a wall that is uncrossable? (Or reach over a wall that is uncrossable?)

If it is, the control #8 is IMO badly placed. The setup was a stone wall/retainer with a metal fence on the inside of that wall at the upper level. Except the control was on the "outside" of the metal fence. So either one had to reach through the metal fence to get it, or climb/reach-over the stone wall to get it...

Because I saw this on my way to #6, I decided the best approach was from above and so I reached through - which I'm confident several others did as well.
