Valley MTB this afternoon - very nice couple of loops around the forest trails. Leg still pretty painful so wondering whether perhaps I've pulled my calf.

Leg test in the dark without a head torch. Calf still feeling a little tight + other leg feeling shin splints. Explainably slow really.

Flew to Chamonix this morning
Wanted to swim so went to the lake at the bottom of the valley - approx 1500m lengths. Swam the first length pretty well but it was on the way back that I had the worst calf cramp I'd ever had in my life - really didn't think I was going to be able to get out to the side. Pretty scary.
