Some stuff on the bike to test it out - ultra low resistance and some short fartlek to keep myself going.

10 x 1min on/off
Hip gucci but could see it hurting on higher resistance stuff.

Avoided it for so long because I’ve had no time but good to get back for a couple hours. Few boulders n a few top ropes but nothing special. Nice.

Tried, failed.

Out on the roads above Bodfari n Tremeirchion and felt excellent for the first 5 or 6k but then the hip started to twinge and it got pretty bad - worse even than Tuesday so had to stop every 800m or so.

Cough gone. Tidy.

Back to Denbigh pool. A little bit of a twinge just as I was getting started, but got onto the pull buoy and stayed there for about 20 lengths - feeling fine going through the last 20 or so without.

I don’t really know how it’s doing at the minute because it doesn’t hurt when I’m not running so I’ll try a jog tomorrow after 72 hours without running to see where it’s at. Cough has one more day to go before I go to the doctors.

Of course lots of hip stretches and stuff not included.

Hmm a good combo.

Hip pain has been pretty bad over the last couple of days and not nice in the runs especially. Physio says overuse and hip bursitis - rest and stretch. Cough still going pretty strong but not as persistent at all comparatively. If it lasts longer than Friday I’ll have to see a doctor.

Resting and stretching coming right up.

Easy Tremeirchion loooooop. Little bit of pain on the outside of the hip from yesterday felt consistent and nagged a bit today.

Grass seshy field dried out in the shape of all the sheep’s footprints so no session there today. Moved it down to the gravel lane to do some reps and it didn’t disappoint.
