Solo from Llanberis as a bit of a dress-rehearsal. The summits and something that happened:

Elidir Fach - ascended completely the wrong way and dropped 8 minutes.
Elidir Fawr - sunrise looking stunning over the Carneddau.
Mynydd Perfedd - passed the first local out walking.
Foel Goch - peng few switchbacks.
Y Garn - extension of the peng few switchbacks.
Glyder Fawr - surprisingly featured 0 people.
Glyder Fach - first tourists asleep on their rollmats.
Tryfan - two goats and two sheep next to Adam and Eve, wow.
(Ogwen Cottage) - speed ate egg mayo sandwich & electrolytes.
Pen yr Ole Wen - chundered 4 times because body couldn’t hack the egg mayo sandwich or electrolytes.
Carnedd Dafydd - long, slow and dehydrated.
Carnedd Llewelyn - featured a guy on a bike, wow.
Pen yr Helgi Du - incredible views over Ffynon Llugwy & Cwm Eigiau.
Pen Llithrig y Wrach - 0 water left, very very dehydrated, doh.
(Capel Curig) - monumental recovery inbound after banana consumption.
Carnedd Moel Siabod - a tourist mistook me for his wife, doh.
Clogwyn Bwlch-y-maen - line in very well practiced.
Carnedd y Cribau - coping excellently with the bogs.
(Nant Gwynant) - long road section, should’ve cut down much later.
Yr Wyddfa - Snowdon summit worse than Bournemouth beach, touch and go job.
Garnedd Ugain - slightly quieter.
Moel Cynghorion - still running ascents.
Foel Goch - still running.
Foel Gron - still running.
Moel Eilio - someone complimented me on how I was “doing well to be running up here”. If only she knew.
(Llanberis) - knees need WD40.

Forced fuellings every 30 minutes taking 20 bars/gels/soreens and half a sandwich and electrolyte+energy at support points. Sorted supply package depots with the next leg’s fuel and all went to plan. Shocking state over the Carneddau but slipped in well at about 38km to enjoy the rest pretty smoothly. 100% would recommend.

Aberglaslyn to Pont Cae'r Gors via Hebog and the Nantlle Ridge solo. Conditions not great today with cloud base at about 600m and constant drizzle - rocks wet so slow moving in some parts.

Line up the first part of Bryn Banog was terrible and just was wading through marsh veg and bracken. Moving okay afterwards until another slow vegetated climb to Y Gyrn. Incredible section from Hebog over Moel yr Ogof and Llefn, and again up onto the Nantlle Ridge.

Insoles in today and felt surprisingly good in the Mudclaws. No pain and definitely something to do every time. Not enough food at all, taking only a gel and a couple of bars, but no problems.

Capel Curig to Aberglaslyn via Moel Siabod, lots of knolls, Moelwyns and Cnicht with Ifan.

Easy going but slow in some very wet sections. Poor experience meant more time was spent trying to find exact summits than necessary, with plenty of false ones on the way. Ate way too little with only two gels and two bars, but didn't find myself in too much of a bad way towards the end.

Met with another runner who was moving slower than us but took and incredible line down Moelwyn Mawr to get on the overtake. We plodded up Cnicht with him to learn more about the lines and his ultra experience.

Much to work on in the way of optimum lines but getting a feel for things was the aim of the game today. Some foot pain towards the end in the new shoes, but worked out in the evening after some exercises.
