Felt really rotten last night and only ended up getting 4 hours sleep so wasn't expecting to do too much.
Leg was still pretty sore so didn't pick up the pace too much.
Ran up to top of One Tree Hill and round cornwall park.
Nice to see all the little lambs and calves around, lots of people as well for the daffodil season.

Legs are quite tight/sore still from Thursday.
Left leg managed to warm up but right leg felt like it was cramping every step I took.
Started with mum running through the trails, was quite wet and I didn't have the right shoes so struggled in some places.
Finished the rest on the road but was never really able to get up to speed.

Legs were really sore from Sprint/speed work on the running track yesterday so thought I would take the day off.

shoes: Puma flexracer

2 km WU with mum and then 8 x 100m sprint with 100m jog between.
Easy jog in between and then 8 x 10 seconds hard 20 seconds jog.
Finished with 2.2 km at 4:30 pace.
Was fairly pleased with the effort as I am still a bit sick and my legs and butt muscles were a bit sore.

Woke up with a bit of a cold but still pulled myself out of bed for a short run.
Ran down to the train station and back to get my tertiary concession loaded.
Legs were feeling a bit heavy from yesterday's session but thankfully a lot of the way there was downhill and the uphill wasn't too bad.
Plus plenty of traffic lights around to give me a break and a stretch.

Easy stretch, strength session

Aus champs build up intervals session.
Original plan was to do 6 x 1 km intervals but changed it to 4 x 1 km intervals for the girls group.
Meghan and I then continued on with 2 x 500 m, 1 minute and 3 x 30 seconds at the start of the session.
Pace wasn't 100% but given shortish rest it was about as much as we could muster.
Generally the times were between 3:55 and 4:15 for the 1 km's
500 m times were just under 2 minute mark I think not 100% sure though cause I didn't lap the intervals.
Overall It was a solid session, I didn't have any pains that might point to injuries.
3 weeks to go so time to put the last pieces into place for Aussie.
