Making good progress on orange set. Already starting to feel a bit stronger again.

NGOC League - Headless Hill

Classic dirty NGOC forest really. Big climbs, brambles, vegetation boundaries, hundreds of platforms. Love it. Messed up the second control due to not understanding the map very well and ending up too low on the spur. Then ran for ages up the hill expecting to find the control (I didn't). After this lots of good slipping around then a burn-up with Duncan after he caught me after about half way but we ended up finishing within 30 seconds of each other.

Working on oranges upstairs and downstairs. Enjoying the top-out boulders but not so much the massive wall. Flashed quite a few I struggled with last week at the end of the session so clearly need some more endurance. Failed horribly on the circuits at the end.

PG Running Group

First Tuesday of every month we all run together and Astrid decided on some short hill reps. With such a mixed group it's hard to run a worthwhile session but just what I needed on an easier week. Turned out to be 8 reps of a very gentle hill in Redland, about 40s per rep.

Very enjoyable trip to the pub afterwards making some new friends and outing Dan as an undergrad.

UBOC Monday - Narroways

First time not getting everyone lost this term. Peter Dobra on quite a direct but indistinct route to Narroways from the water tower. Everyone struggled up the bank before a nice little road bash back to the campus.

Some people who were there two weeks ago returned and Charlie joined us. I felt very tired after the weekend.
