Cycling 3:36:50 [3] 80.8 km (2:41 / km) +1360m 2:29 / km

The obvious Trough of Bowland loop from Dad's house which is now pretty close to Clougha Pike. Starts with a beefy climb up to Jubilee Tower and then up and down all way out with a headwind. The 15% climb up from Stocks Reservoir nearly finished me off but pushed over the top and then the flat of the valley through Wray and Caton was a relief.

Didn't take enough food really, should take some more next time but also coming off a week with a lot of climb already. One highlight of the ride was getting overtaken by a man on an e-MTB on the climb out of slaidburn, at least he said hi.

Running 35:38 [3] 6.4 km (5:34 / km) +180m 4:53 / km

Run on the way back to Dad's house at The Hermitage, mainly for the swim spot. There were two men fly fishing there but they graciously allowed me a 5 minute dip.

Walking 5:24:00 [3] 17.0 km (19:04 / km) +1280m 13:51 / km

An Teallach traverse. Had been seeing the ridge in the distance everyday so decided it was worth a walk around. The harder scrambles were a bit beyond us but a beautiful hot day to appreciate some gorgeous rock.

Got informed by a man at the top that the OMM was cancelled. Good way to find out.

Walking 5:14:12 [3] 19.1 km (16:27 / km) +1081m 12:49 / km

3 more Munros in the Fannichs. Paths for quite a lot of today so quite easy going.

Quite a nice pool in the stream for a swim near the end.

Running 30:33 [3] 3.7 km (8:15 / km) +216m 6:23 / km

Run up the hill nearest the hostel. Pretty horrible terrain at first, thigh deep grass with big holes in but nicer on top. Could see in all directions, over the Fannichs, Beinn Dearg and down towards Ben Wyvis.

Cycling 1:06:43 [3] 28.7 km (2:19 / km) +162m 2:16 / km

Travel to near Loch Glascarnoch and then an easy cycle out and back along the valley to see what I could find. Found: A lot of wild campers, some birds flying serenely and a beautiful sunset over An Teallach.

Had a stop in a layby at half way and felt relaxed and ready for the next stage of my life.

Running 3:18:08 [3] 18.7 km (10:36 / km) +1556m 7:29 / km

Good run up Ben Nevis via Carn Mor Dearg. Ascended straight up the very steep part from the CIC hut. In the clag from about 1000m so the arette didn't feel exposed at all. Fast descent down the tourist path at the end.

Walking 5:00:00 [3] 16.4 km (18:18 / km) +1500m 12:33 / km

Good quick pace around Ring of Steall, most people we saw we later found out were staying at the same campsite. A few claggy tops but opened out on the saddles.
