First course of the day, felt quite good, went slow but made no mistakes

quite slow again but made no mistakes again.

good until in the north end where I overshot the corridor but recovered quickly so it was good.

Run up Cairn Daimh

went up the bike trails as they were closed then did a horifically steep 1km to the top- only stopped once for the others. really nice views on top before going down the east side and then back down through the fields to the cottage.

Deeside squad with Graeme

Working a lot on just practising all the techniques and tactics we've been practising this term. Focusing mainly on footwork. First half was spent rallying and drills. second half was matchplay.

Started off with lots of drills and serve practise, before about 45mins of match play. Played pretty bad but overall ok.

Started off with a pelaton style running drill for about 10 mins, then a couple of short sprints before jogging back. V easy session

Local event at Scolty

Had an absolutely terrible run from the start. Went about 50m to high and ended up getting a rubbish line in to it. nailed 2 and 3 nicley catching up to dad then I went within about 5m of 4 but overshot by 40m, good to 5 but again at 6 I was about 5m from it so stood there for a min trying to work out what was going on before starting to run off, and seeing it. All the while I was trying to run on a compass with a huge bubble in it. Went on the wrong spur at 7 when I just put my compass away actually making things better. Slightly to the right of 8 good to 9 and 10. Then there was a long track leg which was ok fine from 12 onwards.

Note to self: slow down a bit and keep map contact
