Looong run up Cairn Leuchan and Pannanich with Deeside runners

went up the big forest road to the ridge- not stopping on the several k climb :) Then right up to the top of Cairn Leuchan (where there was a bit of snow) before going back down and all the way along the ridgeline, past Pannanich, before dropping down through the trees, bog and general grot out onto the road and along for a wee bit before taking a left up a forest road and along before coming down to avoid the road. Felt ok given as its the longest run I've done.

DNC at Crathes

V boring orangey course around the worst bit of Crathes- not getting into the nice bit once. Basically ran as hard as I could all the way round and only made 1 mistake, drifting about 50+ m west of 5. Felt good but wasn't really that interested.

Note to self: much better compass and focus than the last few runs

Club training at Glen Tanner

Long legs 1- 2.1

Good to 1 only error was misreading the control point so didn't get an ideal line. Prefect series of berings from boulder field to boulder field and in. Good to 3 but was about 25m from it so faffed around for a min. Then just ran down the hill to the ride, along and into the 'white' then just along the tack.

Long legs 2- 2.7

Up the track, then ride to 1 but went a bit to far because i slightly mis-read the contours. Good line to the track and stream but a bit far left so had to re-djust berfore again getting really near it but not seeing it- faffed for about 30secs. Vauge bearing to the side of the hill above 4 then perfectly down to it. Up to exactly the right hight then along to 5. Then along track.
