Didn't really push as there was no one exept a few other s4/5 guys so wasn't motivated and was way to short.

DNC at Balnagowan

started off a bit left on 1, hitting the ride before bouncing back to the control. back onto the ride and then along the second one, think I must have picked up the wrong one because I was to far right approaching the green. headed left and came a bit early but got it ok. Straight to 3 on compass through the grot then above the cliff on the ride, hesitated a bit early but nailed it otherwise. Up out the green and round the hill to 4 got it perfect. came in good to where the control should've been so got confused and went right to 8 instead then accross 2 re-enterants further than it shoud've been. Round the side of the hill to 6, paused a bit short. Nailed 7 straight. Direction was good to 8 but just missed it and overshot by 50m before coming back in. Onto the ride and then along the wall to 9, really slow through the windblow again, paused early yet again but got it good otherwise. Good direction to start with going to 10 but goat really confued near it because of the vegitation so went to the ride and back about 50m further on. Drifted a bit left to 11 but corrected and came in a bit to the left in the circle. went way to far left going to the finish and had to 'run' along the fenceline

Note to self: stopping to early on most of them need to adapt to scale, terrain etc and touch up on compass work

Along the Coull track with a few intervals. pretty muddy

No compass exercises in the 3 main very different parts of the forest. First 1 on top of the hill, jog up to start (Not control halfway down the track......) then was ok on the legs, not very good in the circle but ok otherwise going slowly. Number 2 in the middle of the Fenced area short jog in to start then pretty much straight into the light green, before going into the fight - could barly walk through it, let alone in the right direction so faffed around there for a while then jog from finish back to the start. Then straight back out onto the 3rd one in the marshy vauge bit - all frozen over so not to bad. Nailed all of them just setting the map and running. Control collecting above the last course only getting a few.
