nice easy shakeout in the morning. Felt good at the end. I finished off with hip mobility.

I was feeling super stressed before the start of the race. I had to leave my chem lab early, and we were running late. I got there and tried to get myself excited. My mind was everywhere but I told myself to just run it hard and the faster I run the faster I'll be done. The race was not timed and it started abruptly. During the race I was just focused on running and using the people around me. I was feeling good but my mind was wondering as to how far in the race we were and how much longer till the finish line. We came up the hill we went down and it was 14min so we figured we cut the course short. I still had too much left and wanted to run hard so we went out and ran the hill loop. I was hurting by the end. But going up the hill I settled. I found it hard to get super excited for this race. The slippery uneven footing made it hard to run as fast as I needed. I did get in deep but this race was interesting... Ended up running an unknown distance for around 32-33min.
