I attempted a long run...
Got food poisoning saturday night, I puked a few times throughout the night. I forgot my running shoes at home so I went to the running room to buy a pair and meet up with a friend who lives in London we were going at a pretty good clip plus it was hot plus I felt like shit from the food poisoning I managed 7.5km had I been going at my own pace I might have gotten more but I was really hurting on this run. I was feeling better later in the day so I thought I would run with my friend in the evening but my body had a change of plans after dinner and I had the WORST indigestion I have ever had. I couldn't find relief for 3hrs. I was laying on the bleachers hoping to find some comfort but the whole time I was in so much pain. We left London and in the car I got a bad wave of whatever was happening I tried to find a hospital but all the dang roads were under construction. I ended up making it home feeling like crap the entire way. As soon as I got out of the car I was vomiting. I felt uncomfortable throughout the entire day except for a few hours where I relaxed went for a walk and got some reading done. I would have rather gotten food poisoning any other day but Sunday!! Long runs are my favourite run of the week.
