Did an hour of elliptical in the evening because my shin muscles were not having it.

Shin was really bugging me today again, I think the physio definitely went too deep fees like a bad bruise and muscle soreness. Made sure to ice throughout the day

Since I could do the workout at the track I put my time to use with core and strength instead of idly watching

My shin was super sore after going to physio and getting a massage from her. I think she went a bit too deep but she was getting some knots out

Unstructured fartlek felt good to get things moving and felt like I was running well. It was nice to do a run and run as fast as I wanted without any expectations.

Nice off day run. I ran without the gps function and felt much more free and a reduction in the obessive data anxiety. I am going to embrace this for the summer to get used to running on effort and listening to my body.

Pool Workout 1:30:00 [3]

Second pool workout.
Pool was rather humbling, I haven't swam in quite some time so my body was in a bit of a shock for the swimming segments, I will bring goggles for future practices so I can swim more efficiently. for the intervals I was definitely in the comfort zone for the most part. I tried to really push the last one and was happy with the effort. and I feel like the deep water running is coming along.

did basic strength and 6 strides after the workout.

A nice workout today I woke up and the shin was feeling pretty good no residual soreness. I kept the day easy prior to the workout. At the workout I did 15min warm up, 12 min tempo which was feeling good I was starting to feel strong and in control when the time was up. the 3, 2, 1, were good for the last 2 the first one I didnt hit 5km effort and was stuck in tempo. I made sure to push for the next ones to get out of tempo and into 5km. 15min cooldown ran the workout with Ben who is a sweetie.

Ended with hip mobility adn sit and push and then went for a swim in Boulevard with Maxie.

Ran to Cenntenial to meet Maxie my shin was feeling sore when I got there but not horrible I ran the hilly route with Maxie and had to walk down some hills because the pain was too much I adjusted my stride to land on the ball of my foot because the flex was the trigger for pain. I was in a sour mood and tired so I took a nice relaxing rest of the day and made sure to rest my leg.
