nice run things weren't feeling quite normal though. Talked to a physio he said to take the rest of the time off until I get to thunder bay then see the trainer up there and get things sorted out. Did some eccentric heel raises.

acutally did over 30km cycled from Exeter, Ontario to Grand Bend. Ended up taking the dirt road which I was a bti nervious about on my road bike. I iwsh I could've run on this road it was a nice gravel road with the odd rolling hill.

My heel was bugging me today I could've ran but the consequences woulld put me worse off and the focus is long term. I don't want to enter the season on the side line so I will take an extra day or two of cross training to nip it in the bud before it escalates to something serious. I did some tempo effort on the elliptical held a good effort for 15min and then did 4 x 3min hard 3 min off to end. Felt good to get some sort of quality.

got in my strength workout today. Squats at 35lb, deadlifts 115lb, core, pushups, aussie pullups, walking series 10lbs or 15lbs depending on exercise.

A shakeout in the morning things were not feeling great after 25mins. Heel was stiff and heel raises were painful as well as any sort of full back covered shoes. Sandals and barefeet were alright

did an hour on the elliptical instead of going for a second run I want this heel problem to go away!!

got out for some commuting cycling today pushed the efforts where I could was going pretty fast at some points. Dad wasnt too impressed.

The heel and calf were not feeling great the hills seemed to argavate them. I could moderate the pain while moving but once I stopped and started up again caused a lot of pain that made walking the first few steps unbearable. I had to stop mid run to shake things out. I was not a happy camper after this one. Getting niggles and little injurues take a tole on me.

did a 20min shakeout this morning. The heel was slightly bothering me by the end of it.

I felt so exhausted and tired today. I was recovering from the cold and being sick and managed a gym workout. I tried a run and got 3 min in and nothing felt right I thought I'd take the day off. I went home and went to bed at 8:30

Nice long run with longboat, first continuous long run in a while so I was feeling it by the end. All and all happy with the effort though

Nice easy shakeout run in the evening. Think I'm getting a blister on my right heel because it was bothering me only in the sneakers
