Nice run with TOC. We ran in Centennial Park which was nice. I was happy to not have to do 2 longer runs on cement! Nothing unusual to report. The achilles was feeling okay considering I raced the previous day in spikes.
Ended with hip mobility and stretch and roll.

Things were feeling good during the warm up. I was getting pumped with the music! My achilles wasn't feeling too bad but my hips were tight at the start. Felt weird without the foam rolls... But I made due with what I brought

Running warm up/down (barefoot cooldown) 15:00 [3] 3.0 km (5:00 / km)

Cooldown with the girls. My stomach was not feeling too well during this.

Running race 27:18 [3] 7.0 km (3:54 / km)

There is something about the race situation that messes with my head. I was feeling rather pumped and strong during the strides and quick tempo burst, then the gun went off and I was running scared. The first 700m or so was super tight and boxed in. I tried to tell myself not to worry about wasting energy to pass people right at the start. I was running strong for the first 2.5laps then when it came time to fight and push I held back. I don't like that I did I was still fighting but I wasn't pushing limits and really going for it. Maxie passed me and I just let her go I didn't try to stick and work with her... I need to work on going for it and making my legs go. I felt that this race was better than Eau Claire and that I was using people a lot more but there is still much more I can work on. In the practices where we can let everything out I am going to work on being brave and going to places I haven't been.

Nice shakoeut with Rebekkah and Maxie this morning on the grass by the castle. Ended at the mustard seed and got some more goodies for the day and breakfast.

Nice easy run with Rebekkah through the hospital trails. We were sad to turn around because we were having a lot of fun and enjoying our run.

I woke up feeling not so great this morning. I went for a chilly morning walk with rebekkah. We got back and I started doing school work, but I felt very sick. I went to the bathroom and had stuff coming out both ends. My balance and vision were off. I went to breakfast and got some food into me, I felt better but not my usual self. I wanted to go to practice and see how I felt after the warm up. I did preact and was feeling awful during it. I was having the chills and hot flashes. Kip sent me back to res to rest. I felt bad missing the workout and not even giving it a try, but I had trust that this would help me feel better later and able to race hard on Friday.

Today was good! The later start had me energized. Soccer was fun! Our team was good at getting the ball down to the net but was lacking on aim and our ability to score. During pool I was working on really pushing it and getting uncomfortable and becoming okay with the discomfort. My HR was 26 today. We did a longer deep water running session than usual which was nice and challenging.

My achilles was a bit sore today, probably from the slack-lining on the weekend...

Today was a good day. The warm up was strong and we were moving well! The workout was good, but in order to max out the monday effort I think I should've went harder and pushed the longer intervals more intensely. Overall though I was happy with the quality of today. My achilles and left hip were a bit sore but nothing too serious. I just felt like I couldn't get a lot of push on my right side.

My hips were feeling tight at the beginning of the run and also feeling the work done on Monday. We did the mother, and a lot of hills. The best running was definitely at the end I ran her down and was feeling awesome. The sun was out and the park looked beautiful! I am incredibly grateful for being up here and for the team and their generosity, support, and company!
