Today I was feeling tired but I knew that that meant I was going to get a lot out of today. I felt strong on the tempo. Active warmup I found it took a while to feel fresh again after the warmup. The 2km loop at race pace I felt that I was working hard but there's some mental block for me about racing and race pace. I feel that I psych myself out with the world race and that my tempo was just as strong as my race effort. The 300's really took it out of me. I was in deep after the first one. I was pushing hard. I really want to and need to work on my speed. I really enjoyed this part of the workout even though it killed me. For the 1km I felt like I could've given it a bit more if I had pushed harder from farther out. I had some left at the end despite thinking I was dead after the 300s. I would say I was held back mentally for the 1km over physical limits.

My achilles felt pretty good but my right 4th and 5th toes were hurting during the barefoot run and warmup espeically when I thought about it.

I want to improve my swimming so I went to the pool and swam for 35mins. I didn't exactly know what I was doing and going for over 20mins seemed intimidating compared to the 6mins we do in the morning, so I told myself 10mins then reevaluate and I ended up staying for 35mins.

Nice easy shakeout with rebeks. My ankles were slightly sore from rolling them yesterday so we opted for even surfaces

Things were feeling the best they have for a Thursday workout. My Achilles was feeling pretty good! The last few Thursdays have been sore in comparison. I also felt that we were moving very well today!

My shorts were rubbing on my legs and chafing so i did a lot of out of the saddle riding. Left a mini lake of sweat

45min easy run on the hospital trails and campus with Jeff. My Achilles was cranky by the end of it and I rolled my left ankle on one of the roots on the hospital trails. But the left ankle feels fine I just had to stop and roll it out.
Ended with hip mobility and iced my achilles

My legs, body, and mind were all feeling very tired today. I made sure to stay focused on the effort but my mind would slip at some points. I felt that running in the spikes was awkward because the trails were rather hard today! I was working hard despite feeling like I was running through peanut butter.

The effort during the hard j tervs felt good and I really tried to push it and was embracing the pain and focusing on not letting myself settle. My HR got to 27 which I believe is the highest it's gotten. Happy with today.

Nice easy run on the hospital trails. My legs were feeling tired so I made sure to go off of effort and just enjoy the run. I tripped and wiped out on a root but luckily only skinned my shin.

Today felt good. I worked hard and was grateful to go into cooldown. I was focusing on keeping the thoughts positive and on what was in control. I stuck with Rebekkah for the first few sets then just focused on my effort. I still feel like my surges are in need of work and my leg speed in general! I was happy to be back on the trails!!

Good long run this morning. I made sure I arrived early to do preact because yesterday I didnt get the chance and it felt weird... Ran and got lots of good chats in. I missed seeing everyone but I much prefer being up north. Ended with drills, hip mobility, stretch, roll and went into the hot tub to let the jets massage my calfs. My achilles was a bit sore. Nearly this entire run was done on the concrete jungle.
