Workout went well. Got in deep and ended on the ground. My splits weren't as fast as I'd wanted but it was a good one. My splits were 13:37, 13:17, 13:10. The harder I tried the more it seemed that I slipped. Regardless of the conditions I used the opportunity to get in deep.

Ran outside. I ran along golf links down john over to hill crest and back. I tried to plan the run so that the wind was at my back on the way back. It was chilly one tonight!!. I could feel myself de-thaw when I came inside.

Legs were tired from yesterday and took awhile to get going but once I got going I felt that I could hit the effort. The first set my mind was everywhere but the other 2 I was focusing on pushing and running fast and efficent. I was feeling tired from a long day of school and not getting enough sleep as I'd hoped for. Regardless of how I was feeling i hit the effort.

I was feeling super stressed before the start of the race. I had to leave my chem lab early, and we were running late. I got there and tried to get myself excited. My mind was everywhere but I told myself to just run it hard and the faster I run the faster I'll be done. The race was not timed and it started abruptly. During the race I was just focused on running and using the people around me. I was feeling good but my mind was wondering as to how far in the race we were and how much longer till the finish line. We came up the hill we went down and it was 14min so we figured we cut the course short. I still had too much left and wanted to run hard so we went out and ran the hill loop. I was hurting by the end. But going up the hill I settled. I found it hard to get super excited for this race. The slippery uneven footing made it hard to run as fast as I needed. I did get in deep but this race was interesting... Ended up running an unknown distance for around 32-33min.

Ran the majority of the run with Hailee today. The footing was awful. We were working hard but not moving super fast. We were skating down hills and running through puddles in mud. My hips were feeling it by the end due to stabilizing me. Although it was tough it was fun and an adventure.
