My legs were feeling beat up from yesterday. The first few laps went wel by I need to work on staying tough in those middle laps I was less than 3s off from my pb. I didn’t exactly know what to expect but it was nice to have bodies to go chase. I still need to be more brave and chase girls down when I start to doubt myself. Felt like I worked hard but I think there is more to give I just can’t be afraid. My mind was not in the ideal race mode prior to the race, so I need to work on getting excited even when I don't necessarily feel that way.

I have mixed feelings about this race. I felt like i ran it hard and tough but the time does not reflect my effort. I really want to hit standard and I’m running out of chances. I went through the first km on pace and ended up in no mans land and I fell off a bit. I was trying to push but it was not enough. I ran my slowest time this season which was disappointing. I didn’t like the super late start time but sometimes you don’t have control over that so I tried to pump myself up.

All I can say is that I'm incredibly grateful for having a wonderful team like the one we have. Thank you for the warm birthday wishes and for taking time out of your day. Having the support of the team has helped me overcome a lot of emotional, physical and mental, barriers and problems I faced in the past. You've all helped me emrbace happiness again and I can't thank you enough. I can't wait to see where the future takes us! Love you all!

It was weird I actually enjoyed the elliptical and found myself going at a higher level with less effort than normal.

The bike flew by today I actually went over 15min by a few seconds because I wasn’t watching my watch and was in conversation.

My arms were feeling sore from yesterday since I upped the weight for the med ball but regardless I went with the same weight and pushed through to do 15 reps of each. Good strength I will use 6kg for the leg exercises next week.

Good strength today! The 5kg was a real struggle for the exercises with the arms out straight but I told myself to push through and that these are the reps that are making you grow.

Really happy with this pool workout. I got in deep for the intervals and really made an effort to push and FIJG was breathing hard and HR got to 29. I need to apply the pool and saturday efforts I give to races. Looking forward to the weekend!! Time to run fast, smart and get in deep!

Nice barefoot run with bek's. My right IT band was a bit sore this morning. I took some time after to have a good stretch and did some cupping when I got back to my room which made it feel a lot better.

Good effort today. I was feeling very tired throughout the day and took a nap prior to practice. The legs were feeling pretty heavy. Only did 16min to prepare for the weekend. When I started to focus on my legs I realized it and told myself to "feed the good wolf" and focused on what I'm getting out and not allowing myself to make excuses. It was a good monday effort. I can't seem to dress appropiately, I was way to warm today!

Good long run in terms legs and effort but I got exceptionally cold during it and had to stop in the chalet to adjust my hands as well as grab my jacket from Derek’s car. Maxie had to help me and do up my zipper. Once I got warmed up a bit it made it a lot better. I need to make better clothing choices so I don’t end up in tears from the cold.

Nice shakeout around the turf. My legs felt a bit heavy at the start but loosened up with time. My house was up partying last night so I got less sleep than I hoped for, so I am hoping to get to sleep earlier tonight. Ended with hip mobility and a quick stretch and roll before heading to dinner.
