Good workout today. I got in pretty deep and really tried to make interval tougher than the previous. My mom came over when I was on my last interval and was very concerned, asking if "I was okay" I tole her "This is good, i'm supposed to be like this".

I had a busy day planned so I did both workouts back to back to get it in.

This was nice. The outdoor pools opened up today so I went to the one by the lake and got in a good 50' effort outside. I biked home and got ready to bike downtown to go to the jays game with rebekkah. I usually get to 5 a year but since I'm up in thunder bay this summer my dad and I decided to get tickets since this would be my only option to go. It was rebekkah's first game!

It feels great to be running again and today I was completely pain free! I am glad I live so close to high park because there are a lot of soft surfaces compared to other parts of the city!

It took some mental fortitude to get me out the door to get this done. I was really tired after lunch and ended having a 2hr nap which I woke up from feeling nauseous. The past few weeks I have been missing that mental training and I'm finding myself not wanting what I should be wanting. Once I made myself get on my bike I ended up looking forward to it. My HR got up to 29 I knew I had to commit to the workout and there was no place for excuses. My focus was not great today but I kept bringing it back. I am looking forward to our saturday and tuesday meetings to remind myself of the mental side.

There was some crazy wind and rain and my parents didnt want me on my bike so I went to the closer gym with my mom and there were swimming lesson happening in the pool so I went on the elliptical for 70' and ended with hip mobility, push and sit and some stretching.

Nice shakeout with the girls before leaving to catch the plane. We ran along the river on concrete which wasn’t ideal but leg didn’t seem to affected by it. I was more just tired from the late nights and hours on our feet. Got a good calf stretch in after before leaving for the plane. The subway was behind and we ended up taking a sketchy car ride with some random guy who tried to rip us off to get the airport.

Found a bike in the childrens play area at the airport and did a little shakeout on it before catching the flight. There was a kid who was not to happy I was on the bike.

I surprised myself with how my leg handled the run today. I don’t think there was a moment in the run where I wasn’t smiling. I took in the scenery and enjoyed the run. I high fives little kids and cheered on the team when I would see them zoom by. It was nice and hot out so I got a good sweat in even though I was just going for a ride. I was expecting to finish closer to an hour so my time was a nice surprise. My leg was a bit stiff for the first 3-5mins but once I got warmed up I didn’t feel anything and the cooldown was fine too. My feet were more sore because of all the walking and standing we have been doing since 8am. Had an awesome time and ended up seeing my friends!
