Today was a really interesting day. I have been having a rough couple of days with lots of crying and mental breakdowns. I did not have the best head on my shoulders. I went to talk to Kip about dialing back practice, but the easy option is not always the best option. I tend to turn thoughts into catastrophes and I decided that I was just going to try to run for 1 min. The first minute passed and I felt fine so I kept going. Stopped at 3 mins for a break went then I thought I can keep doing this. I hit 3 mins and things felt fine I went to 5 and took another walk break not wanting to push things. I started up again and midway through the young bucks started their cooldown so I thought I would join them for a while. Things felt pretty good. I ran on the track mostly because the small footing available on the outside of the curtain was making me land awkward and causing some discomfort so I adapted. Beks came part way ended up dropping me. I tried to stick but going faster bugged my leg so I just listened to my body and went back to a relatively pain-free pace. I was really happy with how the day ended.
