I went to the pool this morning since i found out the band-aid crew was also going so I used them for some accountability and motivation to get it done. Maria came midway through. I was initially planning on going for 45-60 mins, but Maria and I got talking and I ended up going for 95 mins! If you need me to get lost and get in the cross training time ask me about the environment.

Note

Relay for life was today and I did a lot of walking, dancing, and games for 5.5hrs

Today was not great. I woke up and fixated on how my knee hurt and used that as an excuse to be in a bad mood. Most forms of activity hurt, but the pool was not bad and better than walking.

My leg was feeling better than it was on monday and tuesday so I gave running a go. My leg was good until about 25 mins where it started to get sharp painful. I stopped to stretch it out at one ooint but that didn't help. I felt like I was limping along golf links. When we stopped at oliver and I tried to start up again I had a sharp pain when I tried to run again. I walked back from the lights and had a negative head on my shoulders. I was frustrated and in a downward spiral mindset.

My leg was sore after yesterday and the pool workouts have aggravated it in the past when it was sore, so I did a DWR instead to give some rest. It felt better later in the day. A little frustrated about collapsing in a stride again.

My leg was feeling better so I tried a run, but after 10 mins it was getting sharp and I shut it down and spent time stretching and rolling to get back to running ASAP.

Today was good in terms of effort. I felt sick upon waking up but managed to put that aside and still get in a decent effort. My leg was feeling better this monring but after the workout my knee was sore to walk . Felt better with some stretching and rolling

Today’s run was the worst my knee has been in a while. It was fun until around the 45-50 mark. It felt tight across the outer part of the right knee. Elliptical was alright didn’t bother it too much. Made sure to do a lot of stretching and rolling.
