This was a performance I am not proud of. When it got hard in the middle I made up excuses and felt sorry for myself rather than embracing and pushing. Multiple people went by me and didn't respond to them or use them in a productive way. There was a head wind for the 7km out. Once we turned around I told myself to stop feeling sorry for myself and to just run. I had an old friend come up on my shoulder and I didn't want her to beat me so I got my butt into gear and ran down some people. I need to work on running down people in the middle when the end is not in sight. I can't wait till when I know I will be able to finish to start working hard. I finished tired but nothing like the level of exhaustion from the 10-mile or even the June Classic. This race was a great opportunity to run fast, and I missed it. Moving forward I am never going to finish a race with excuses for not giving my all. I need to harden the f*ck up and just go for it and see what I'm actually capable of regardless if it meets my arbitrary expectations.

Today was not my greatest workout. I felt pukey sick throughout the day even though I didn’t have any major throw ups. My legs fet a bit heavy on the run and I didn’t fixate on it but i found it hard to enjoy the grind today. Finished feeling very zonked even though I felt slow.

Good workout today. The body was super tired today but really went after it and again enjoyed the struggle. The swim has been causing me some angst so I need to swim more. When I tried to DWR with no arms my right knee hurt so I stopped.

Good workout today. I was tired from the day but told myself “no excuses”. I went in and embraced the hard and visioned that line to push on. Enjoy the hard today and loved the sunshine and greenery. Finished feeling like I still could’ve pushed harder so I made sure to roll the cool down.

Nice long run today. It was wonderful to run with everything starting to bloom. Legs felt better than they have but both calf’s/ankles were still a bit sore. Nearly took a tumble but saved myself in the process landed a bit funny on the left leg and Jammie felt a tinge off.
