Went for a shakeout this morning after doing some stretching and rolling of my calves. I was a ding dong and didn't know how to get to the trails so I ran on the shoulder of the road.

Awesome adventure today. Hailee, Rebekkah, Popcorn, and I tackled the feet of the giant and ran when we could. Stopped at tea harbor and we went for a dip in superior. Things felt better after a nap so I took advantage of the day and got in some good miles. Enjoyed the day thoroughly. I had a wipeout on the trails and left knee and right pinky are a little sore.

Boy oh Boy this was a bit of a rough one. I had a snack when I got home from work and it came up during the run. The first 45 mins I felt sick but told myself that getting through today will make me better. The last 25 mins were just rough and I was happy to get back to the house. Stretched and rolled once we got to the campsite.

Decent run today. Today and yesterday I have felt tired and it’s taken some extra energy to get out the door. I was running around a beautiful park but it took me a while to convince myself that I was having a good time. The run went from poopy to good by the end and even went longer than I initially planned.

Today was a bit more of a grinder. I had coffee yesterday and didn’t end up falling asleep until after 12 but woke up on and off from 6:15 onward. Had to keep reminding myself of this wonderful opportunity and eventually it came through.

Super tired after the morning and ended up forgoing my plans for day and just resting. Took a nice nap but still felt groggy. Did some rolling and stretching throughout the day today and after my run.

Good long run today. I met up with Camille from the LU ski team and we ran all over town. I dropped her off and ran over the bridge to Dartmouth. Got in some soft surfaces on this run which was nice. Woke up a bit stiff so today will be about recovery. Going to bike down to the ocean again to swim in the cool waters and get some stretching and strength in the park.


Change of plans for the day but did not end up going to the ocean.
