First run in nyc. I ran the wrong way to get to the park. Once I got there I did preact and glute activation. Ran a mix of trail and pavement. Super hot out today. There was some fear going into the run, but I told myself that this is what I want and I got after it. Ran some decent hills too.

Did lots of walking so I skipped the shakeout.

Decent run this morning. The body felt a bit beat up, but no red flags.

Ran the belrose loop from the house. Right bottom of the foot is a bit sore after. I made sure to stretch and roll it out and it’s loosened up.

Today’s race was a tough one. I let my ego get in the way and interfere with the focus of competing. I ran hard and finished pooped but some energy was wasted fighting myself. I need to learn to detatched from the ego and not fight myself. It was very hot and I had to lie down both after the race and CD. I was going to go for 2 laps but I felt sick so called it after the first.

Today was not my best workout. My legs felt flat and instead of going with it I had judgement especially for the first set, things got better with pushing and embracing as the workout progressed.

Good run today. For some reason I was a bit nervous for this run but things went well. I did 30 mins on my own then met up with beks for her 90min run. Rand through shining and had lots of good chats.
