Today was a decent first race. I worked through the field, but I didn’t start pushing from far enough out. I finished the race feeling tired but I know I can push myself more. Next week I will be more brave and push from further out. I did a good job at staying calm and pushing, but didn’t get pushing soon enough. I enjoyed being out there today.

Good run today. I was planning on running the regular belrose loop, but ended up exploring some of the back streets which lead me to some trails. I’m not 100% sure I was supposed to be there but it was very nice. Had to do a bit of bush walking to get out, but I had a great time. I hope to explore them again.

Today was a grinder the effort was there but the legs didn’t go. I made an effort to not focus on my legs and to have my eyes up. Feeling zonked after this had to have a nap.
