Took an easy run with Jake just to get some blood circulation in the muscles. My thighs are really stiff and tender from yesterdays downhill run.

Borrowed a training race map from Wallin and headed up the mountain. The undergrowth made the terrain slow and the orientering was dead simple in that speed. When I headed down the slalom slopes towards the finish I managed to get confused and almost imagined that I was on the wrong slope. Missed jogging down.

The training was up in the beautiful area near Älgsjön (just west of). I decided to make the training as competition like as possible and tried to focus from the start. I unfortunately fell on some bare rock on the way to the 1 st control and hade to stop a little bit later to check it up and also to tie my shoelases on the way to the 5th control. Other than those two involuntary stops I raced on almost without mistake. I hesitated a little on 2 controls but otherwise it felt good.

Easy run around Vallskogen and down to Vidingsjö through the old military fields. Social run, which felt extra nice after a tough weekend and a relatively short night.
