District championship relay, leg 3
As my teammates decided to do some extra training on the previous legs I headed out as team no 7. I had some strong runners in front that I thought was impossible to overtake, but as I did a really strong first half of the race I had passed Tjällmo who headed out as team no 4. This gave me some extra fuel and I pushed on. On the way to the 9th control I managed to get a small small piece of forest in my eye and I got distracted for just a few moments and passed close to the control and went to far down the slope. Realized after a few seconds my mistake and headed up the hill again. (Lost 40").

Got a little bit stressed that Tjällmo would have passed me and pushed on a bit too hard on the next leg. This led to overshooting the control and having to turn back and loose another 75" and a place in the race. I got the back of Tjällmo heading out of the control and pushed on hard to catch up. It felt like Kalle in Tjällmo was pushing really hard to not let me get into contact and I was starting to feel the speed and had to cut back a bit. At the same time I think Kalle made a small mistake and I could once again overtake him. The next controls were a bit shaky and I had problems with directions going through some green areas. I had to stop and relocate a few times both going into 14 and 15. After that everything went smoothly to the finish. Going into the second last control I realize that the team that went out as team no 6 was just behind me and I had to do some proper running to the last control and into the finish chute to secure the 5th spot.

Overall I'm really happy with my performance today as well and a really good weekend technically!

Middle distance district championship, Boxholm Karsbo
Really nice terrain. Lots and lots of details and a nice intricate contours, but still an easy map to read. Good visibility and lots of pine and some nice bare rock on top of the small hills.

Took safe routes in the beginning trying to avoid mistakes. Only two minor mistakes and in total around 30" of mistakes. I'm very pleased with my performance.

Mjärdevistafetten, leg 1
Ran the first leg of this road race relay. Couldn't restrain myself from following the leading group the first km and kept around 3'15 the first k. After that it got progressively slower. Managed to pick up the pace the last 500m. Quite satisfied with going around on an av speed of 3'30"/k considering the amount of training I have been doing of late.

Forest intervals in Vallaskogen, my usual loop (670m)
Tried to push hard and get used to running in the forest. I felt during the sunday orienteering that I lacked forest runnnig skills.

Got more and more used to the forest and kept picking a second each lap :)
