Note
weight:91.5kg

OK, so here is a hard post for me to write...
I knew I put on weight, I can feel and see it but I didn't know how much and I am appalled, I now weigh 91.5kg's that's more than 15KG's what I was two years ago. I know this is a combination of both running less and eating badly again. mostly carbs and sugars that I really should stop. so from this forward, the eye is on the needle and I am documenting everything I eat (Just like I did 4 years ago) and will see about cutting carbs back out again. Also gotta make sure not to miss a run. gotta do what I gotta do.

Bummer :-(

Trail Running (Trail hilly Fartlek) 1:08:04 [3] 9.37 km (7:16 / km) +173m 6:39 / km
ahr:141 max:168 slept:4.5 shoes: Saucony Peregrin

Run to a nearby sand dunes area and did the fartlek there. the sand dunes are not very long but there is enough grade (I think over 8% for the steep parts) and the sand footing makes them hard to climb so it was easy to get myself exhausted at each peak. run a couple of repeats on one dune then toured around a bit and run back home on the road. strangely the effort felt harder than the data shows. if I was on the roads for this run at this pace and this HR I would expect to not even break a sweat but on the sandy trail, the effort just goes way up even on the flats. otherwise, it was good to run in the "wild" and not on the usual pavement. It's also very nice on the top of the dunes facing the Mediterranean.
