2x15mins 4x1k. Not sure how much I got out of this because I actually enjoyed an interval session. Just cruised the whole thing at Threshold. I could have turned the screw more but because I wasn't miserable for a change I left it. Very close compared to last weeks intervals in storms.
1ks......4:08, 4:11, 4:06, 4:12. Same roughly as last week but with way less misery.

Ahhhhhh at last. Days like today make it worth it. Yes it's a run in Shitsville. But it pissed down the whole time so what started out as a 10 miler turned into 14. The last 4 I let my HR go into zone 3......what a rebel. Calfs had some DOMS but they weren't going to ruin a really nice run.
Today I put some serious blackmail down with the girls. Previously the deal was no phone until they can drive. Now it's run a 7 min mile and get a phone. They're both really excited. they think it'll be in their sticky mitts next week. After going on LBJ's Track tomorrow they'll realise they'll be driving a car before those 7 minutes tumble. Got to be cruel to be kind.

Steady round Rice. Last 2 miles HR spiked a tad. Knee's holding up. I put it down to Tiger Balm. Snake Oil ....yep, but it seems to do magic on my knee. I'll try anything in desperation.

Wife home so one of the wretched kids wanted in bed. No sleep so out for an easy effort to Rice.
Spent the evening watching a short presentation by Grant Bluett. Sounds like I need to make Saturdays more often and Mondays Track. Not sure how I'll do the latter. He swears by at least one interval session a week with club runners. Haven't done that since I was 17. Pretty impressive what he's achieved.
