Running 1:42:01 [3] 19.36 km (5:16 / km) +7m 5:16 / km
ahr:136 max:162

LSD. West U, Rice, Hermann Park. Plan was to go over an hour. I was supposed to do two hours. But I somehow managed to comfortably do 9 miles at Zone 2 and 3 miles at Zone 3. Thank goodness for the wind. It was toasty out today. The only reason my HR got anywhere near 162 was cos I wanted to beat a red light.

Running 47:30 [3] 9.82 km (4:50 / km) +7m 4:49 / km

Slow, but a positive experience. Around Rice. Not too hot, but very close.

(rest day)

Zero motivation. By the time Eadie's project was done (ridiculous for a 9 year old, cannot wait to see what the rest of West U's parents have produced) the day was over. At least for me.

Running 33:43 [3] 6.5 km (5:11 / km)
ahr:126 max:143

The struggle is real. Who'd have thought missing a week would lead to feeling like I was pulling a high-rise around Rice. Not feeling it at all.

Total right off this week. Kendal sent home ill this morning so just got household paperwork caught up on. Still maybe I can salvage the weekend.

Thursday May 16, 2019 #

Note
(rest day)

As expected. No time today. Not even to sleep. Kendal got braces, so I was out of action all day with that and work. Tomorrow it's back at it.

Note
(rest day)

Drove back to Houston from Abilene. Straight into bairn's end of year projects then tryouts (The last 6 days of travel have been entertaining. Kid's footie is bonkers). Hoping to do something tomorrow, but when I'm not at work I think I'll be passed out.
