9 AM

Running 34:13 [3] 8.08 km (4:14 / km) +60m 4:05 / km
ahr:136 max:150

Marsden Inn to The New Crown down South Shields seafront. Lovely morning. Easy, but I've noticed the watch calculated new (harder) HR zones last month and some of these "Easy" runs aren't a stroll. I can't remember the last time I hit Zone 4.

Friday Jul 19 #

3 PM

Running 1:49:10 [3] 20.94 km (5:13 / km) +409m 4:45 / km
ahr:120 max:137

Changed my mind and ran. Very slowly. Didn't even get into Zone Two the whole run but enjoyed it even if I probably didn't achieve anything. High Waterfall Farm, Westworth, Sleddale, Lonsdale, Gribdale, Roseberry Saddle, Bousdale Farm, Bousdale. Bit Bleak on top.....perfect.

Thursday Jul 18 #

4 PM

Running 30:49 [3] 5.74 km (5:22 / km) +137m 4:48 / km
ahr:121 max:139

Totally knackered. Easy from shipping my bike at Bike Scene to Bousdale. Day off tomorrow. Not planned, but no way can I face a long run.

Wednesday Jul 17 #

12 PM

Running 37:32 [3] 4.84 km (7:45 / km) +381m 5:34 / km
ahr:134 max:156

Family day with Pete and Genders at the Wainstones. They let me take off for a canter. Probably a bit too much for an easy effort due to the climb. Lungs were happy, but legs were heavy on the evening sesh.
6 PM

Running 1:07:58 [3] 13.24 km (5:08 / km) +365m 4:31 / km
ahr:137 max:157

Extremely tired. 6x1k intervals. Decided not to do these over a restricted area but over a regular run. So most were up hill. The last took in a decent. Legs felt trashed and HR never got near Zone 4. Not sure how beneficial this was. Having said that I feel like I've barely put any effort in for three weeks so it's time to start trying and this was something.
On an extremely depressing note.....Steve Bruce. May The Farce be with you!

Tuesday Jul 16 #

6 AM

Running 30:22 [3] 6.45 km (4:43 / km) +111m 4:20 / km
ahr:137 max:153

Easy on bottom ride to Butt Lane. Back along the lines.

Monday Jul 15 #

(rest day)

Not planned or required. Stayed at the house all day waiting for British Gas.......who never showed up. Not a happy camper.
