Sunday Nov 17 #

(rest day)

Well sort of. Finally finished al the flooring in the house (It needs trimming and caulking cos there's some mistakes!). When done I dragged Eadie off the iPad for 2 1/2 hour MTB from Deep Creek home. She bailed badly once, but really enjoyed it. (Wants to go asap she claims)

Saturday Nov 16 #

(rest day)

Yesterday sent alarm bells ringing. Need to take a break. More flooring today. Hopefully tomorrow is the beginning of the end of the flooring.

A slow slog around Aldosoro and Penelope. Hammys tight. Legs generally in bits.

Fartlek on the Valley Floor. I found this very difficult. Concentrated on form on the faster bits. Probably looked like Forrest Gump. (That was the general consensus when I played for Kuwait.)
Looking forward to doing nothing this weekend. Hopefully I'll be all caught up with the remodel and concentrate on drinking beer.

Running 45:44 [3] 8.87 km (5:09 / km) +115m 4:51 / km

10x400m from house around Valley Floor. Feeling tired and heavy.

Tuesday Nov 12 #

(rest day)

Woke up with some DOMS working. Was planning on MTB, but flooring and fitting the microwave took over.
On another note, I saw a lad trucking it into town on the school run wearing just shorts and t-shirt. No thermals. The car said it was 15F......He was absolutely flying so there must have been windchill too. Some lad.

Monday Nov 11 #

1 PM

Running 2:54:41 [3] 24.47 km (7:08 / km) +827m 6:06 / km
ahr:160 max:182

LSD....that was harder than a Budgies beak. Plodded around. Ate too much before and still bonked after 2 hours. Cracker of an afternoon. Views were bewt over The Wilson Range.
