Sunday Nov 8 #

Note

My Physio has Covid. San Miguel Health Dept. informed me today I need to test on Tuesday and isolate for another seven days after, regardless of the test result. The bairns cannot now go to school. She's the only person I've been in contact with in the last 10 days. You can't make this shit up.

Thursday Nov 5 #

Note

Week 2 down. Knee feels good. Hip coming around. DVT unnoticeable. Planning to stay in house for the next 4 days with a big dump of snow expected this weekend.
Had to pick up meds in Durango today. Couldn't smile wide enough as I drove through Montezuma County. Disappointed that the Kasper Fosser interview didn't drop in the 5 hours on the road.

Wednesday Nov 4 #

Note

Total rest today. The knee is golden. As is the clot. The right hip that's taking all the ever increasing weight is killer. Struggling to sleep.

Tuesday Nov 3 #

Note

PT number 2:
Knee looks good.
Huge bruising on back of calf.
Groin and pelvic area on opposite side is painful.
24 hours of total rest tomorrow.

NB. Lymphatic system around the pelvis seems to be working overtime at the moment. Especially when I wake up.

Note

On another note. Just found out my favourite CLOK area, Westworth Plantation, is in the process of being clear felled. Gutted. It's not been used this century, but since it was thinned five years ago I've enjoyed doing terrain runs in there when I'm home.
