Sunday Jan 31 #

11 AM

Road Bike 38:04 [3] 21.25 km (1:47 / km)
ahr:127 max:167

Quick blast followed by a slow stroll about Town.

Saturday Jan 30 #

8 AM

Road Bike 50:04 [3] 31.03 km (1:37 / km)
ahr:109 max:164

Easy watching 15k mass start. Looks like Young broke his leg. probably in the big fall on the first lap. Although Musgrave's fall looked nasty.
NB. Shoveled for an hour this morning. About 7" fell.

Friday Jan 29 #

11 AM

Road Bike 1:25:01 [3]
ahr:117 max:160

Easy watching 15k pursuit. Musgrave smashed it. Loads of housework today. Managed to edge and wax the girls' skis. Snow on the way.

Got the vaccine today........Tetanus vaccine. Had my first medical for over 10 years. Thought it might be prudent after the last three months. If I want to start training in March it might be a good idea to see if I'd drop dead of something suddenly. My Dr. is a very good runner in these parts (for his age) so I gifted him a map of Telluride in the hopes he'd try the UsynligO course. He seemed excited about it.
12 PM

Road Bike 1:02:16 [3] 35.43 km (1:45 / km)
ahr:131 max:181

Very, very easy while watching Spurs v Liverpool. Discovered my trainer wheel doesn't hold air anymore. Doesn't change anything. Generally today was a great day.
NB. Bumped into my bairns old maths teachers at Kendal's Nordic practice. The conversation confirmed what my 11 and 13 year old confirmed and that Eadie's homeroom and social studies teacher is a Trumper. It fills me with joy that my 11 year old can identify a fucking idiot. Ahhhh, they learn so fast these days. It fills me with joy.

Wednesday Jan 27 #

Walking 1:50:00 [3]

Walked around Matterhorn carpark while Kendal skated up at Priest Lake. Very boring and very beautiful. No car crashes this time.
9 AM

Road Bike (Turbo. ) 1:10:00 [3] 45.16 km (1:33 / km)
ahr:122 max:174

3x12 mins watching women's relay. Medium to Hard effort.
NB. Eadie was sent home this morning. That's three isolations in 20 days between the two of them. San Miguel has the 4th highest positivity rate in the US. Having been to Texas I find that statistic difficult to swallow.

Tuesday Jan 26 #

9 AM

Road Bike (Turbo. ) 1:21:35 [3] 40.28 km (2:02 / km)
ahr:112 max:150

Easy on the bike. Worth watching till the end this workout. What is Bolshunov thinking.

Monday Jan 25 #

Rollercoaster of a day. Root Canal fix and then turned down a Best Man position. Can't go through any of that again. I'll just be an usher thanks. Bride or Groom??
NB. Tomorrow is the Bulshunov episode. I hope it's worth the 90mins on the Turbo.
