Sunday May 16 #

Note
(sick)

Long Day. Under the weather still. Start again tomorrow.
NB. Kendal came back from rafting the Colorado River. She's exhausted. Passed out straight away. Loved it.

Saturday May 15 #

6 AM

Running 56:43 [3] 10.37 km (5:28 / km) +49m 5:21 / km
ahr:158 max:178 (sick)

Very Easy. Cold moved to my chest.
NB Long day at the office.
Made better by bumping into half the team at the brewery on the way home. They picked up my tab.
Apart from the one run in with a parent today (The Assistant Ref jumped in and packed him on his way. Every time the parent opened his gob I subbed his kid out the game. I told him there's only one coach here. The Assistant got sick of it. It got ridiculous. So he sent him packing from the game. Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians around here.) Things have been very good.

Note
(sick)

Still under the weather. Dropped AM off at Montrose Airport and carried on to GJ. Staying at a Motel 6 as all is booked up. What a shithole. Fight outside reception when we arrived. No "clean" rooms until 6pm. Proper sketchy. When I pulled up a "woman" at reception tried to turn me away as they were all booked up. "She" almost pinched "herself" when I told "her" I'd already paid.
This is going to be the ultimate "Long Weekend".

Thursday May 13 #

12 PM

Running 36:53 [3] 6.45 km (5:43 / km) +69m 5:26 / km
ahr:151 max:176 (sick)

Easy on Goshorn Loop @ Thunder Trails. Amazeballs. I think 4 maps could be made on this area. For now though it's going to be a regular terrain run. My main concern is that it's really remote. Found an old farmstead at the trail head that appeared not to be frequented that well.
NB. Got Kendal's cold. Had to go back to bed for 90 mins this morning. Subbed this for a Long run. Felt ok while out.

Wednesday May 12 #

Strength & Conditioning 25:00 [3]

Plus 35 mins stretching.
NB. Got an email read out on TalkSport this morning. Recollecting being in a wrong queue. The girls were pretty happy listening in on the school run. Kendal always wants me to call in.

Tuesday May 11 #

Strength & Conditioning 25:00 [3]

Plus 40 mins stretching.
1 PM

Running 40:02 [3] 6.38 km (6:17 / km) +115m 5:45 / km
ahr:154 max:171

Very Easy from Illium Industrial Park.
NB. Dad got sorted. I think he bored the shit out of the nurses cos the NHS paid his taxi home ASAP. Preggers sorted dad's car out. Mam's happy so all's good in the O'Callaghan household.

Monday May 10 #

Strength & Conditioning 25:00 [3]

Whole body.
NB. Dad got held back at James Cook after stress test. Needs a pacemaker fitted ASAP.
11 AM

Running 1:04:06 [3] 12.93 km (4:57 / km) +81m 4:48 / km
ahr:134 max:150

Steady down the San Miguel River, Lime to past Vanadium. Don't feel too great running.
40 mins stretching
