Sunday May 19 #

(sick) (rest day)

Had so much grot this morning I couldn't breath. No running. Another farcical day trip to GJ.

Saturday May 18 #

6 AM

Running 40:25 [4] 8.01 km (5:03 / km) +49m 4:54 / km
ahr:135 max:153

20 mins Threshold. Lime to Vanadium and back. Feeling really shit in my neck, but fine to run. Cracker of a morning. Nobody out and saw my first Telluride raccoon. Massive compared to TX raccoons. So not everything's bigger. Done before a full day in GJ watching Eadie and Montrose U15's.
NB. Coughed up the other lung.

Friday May 17 #

Up at 5am. Had some type of virus going on in my head for two weeks. But only noticeable when I sleep. (Aches at where my head meets my spine). Still slightly there, but throat and trachea felt bruised this morning. Not worried, but it's there. Going to try ramp up training again today.
8 AM

Running 1:06:06 [3] 13.01 km (5:05 / km) +168m 4:46 / km
ahr:132 max:149

The best way to get motivated again......1 hour Steady. Love doing this. Cracked it out straight after the school run. Done in Illium. Nice and chilly.
NB. Coughed up a lung.

Thursday May 16 #

(sick) (rest day)

Tired, sick and generally really unmotivated.
NB. Been thinking the last few days of going back into football. That would mean a move and no more orienteering. Last few days have really hit home how much I miss it.

Wednesday May 15 #

(rest day)

Travel Day. Had time to run, but didn't get home from London until 2am so wrote up sessions and headed to the airport. Shattered.

Tuesday May 14 #

2 PM

Running 45:37 [2] 8.34 km (5:28 / km) +145m 5:02 / km
ahr:121 max:135

Easy up and around Warden Hills between Luton sessions and going to Stamford Bridge. Knee was bothering and feeling knackered. No energy, completely drained.
NB. Training at Luton with Wayne was fantastic.
Watched Chelsea U18 v Man U18 in the National Final. Scary how good both those teams were. Especially compared to Luton's U21's. Really good last few days. Now I just need to get a team to coach regularly.

Monday May 13 #

5 PM

Running hills 49:24 [4] 8.01 km (6:10 / km) +339m 5:05 / km
ahr:132 max:169

6xWarden Hill. Felt horrific, after a night on the toilet.
You know you're down South when randoms clap and cheer you when you're just doing a sesh. Up North (God's Own Country...AKA Yorkshire) this is what normal is. I felt like I was in Le Tour the way dog walkers and strollers behaved. Nice, but odd.
NB. Met The old Gaffer at Slough Town FC and just talked football for twelve hours. Really looking forward to tomoz.
