This left me crying.
Kendal got a "scholarship" (no way I'd give a penny to such a thing) to go on a Jim Jones Cool Aid Camp. She told me in the car today that she had to watch a video on poor countries so she could come home and tell us. We could then donate to them to help spread their utter nonsense. The poor countries were places like Zimbabwe and........SCOTLAND. I almost crashed the car. You can't make this shit up.

I saw a bear yesterday evening. Impressively powerful. I was driving about 20m from it. It jumped the fence by the Shell Garage.

Bean Canyon South
Shadowed Kendal. Started at #3 and ran the course in reverse. Started terrible. So back to the start. Then off she went. Nailed everything until the last. Had a huge stinker here. But for some reason the contours at #4 are incorrect, so she got a pass. I think she did really well. My main criticism is she doesn't run trails hard enough. Her compass is pants. Takes too long to settle and deviates all over the place. I've given her mine.

Little Bean Canyon
Went and reccy'd the Little Bean Canyon map. Had a few issues. (One being a fence that dissects the early part of the map. Wasn't sure if it was private land...it isn't.). From the small section I went on it seems this area has more features. Boulders, knolls, cliffs....depressions.....bulls....(it's open range in the forest).

Went to the Dermo today. No issues. Always a worry for me going there. More so than the dentist. The boys at the Roastery were gutted that I didn't get to indulge in Rachel's playlist for the day. Major swerve there.

21 secs slower than this time last year and 1:20 off the PB.
To be honest this was a struggle. Still not fully right. Always bringing something up from my chest. Just feel off.
Introduced Kendal to this. She did ok. (I think she felt similar to myself). Happy I've got this done though. Wasn't excited about this one.

NB. Mick's got some new staff in at the Roastery. The lass is lovely, but her taste in music is like listening to a chimp working on a Ford Escort. Roll on Glenwood and Missoula. I can't see me helping out after July 4th. It's unbearable. She says she likes all music......if all music is Bluegrass, Country and 70's rock opera on ice. My ears are bleeding. Utter shite.
