Wow! My first run since May 10 (3mos to the day). Started on Day 1 of Rita’s Reentry Interval Program. First did a good session of calf stretches. Then walked to FRPark and used the green terrain to do: 5 min walk + 3x (1min run + 1 min walk) + 5 min walk. Did not feel any pain at all! My leg running muscles were totally asleep and then gradually remembered what they were supposed to do! Walked back home, then rolled my feet. I think I need to buy a new pair of running shoes. I feel that mine are a bit squishy. We shall see...
