Forest trails in Frank Ryan Park and Elmhurst Park were ice-packed, but I wore my new IceBugs and had a wonderful trot! Love 'em!

Walk at Mud Lake with Sandra. Cold but refreshing, Lots of ice everywhere so we went slowly - but chatted quickly!

Bike spin at a moderate, even effort. Kept the bars lowish to work my abs a bit.
Legs felt good.

Another run in the FRP and Elmhurst woods, alternating directions. The paths were still decently packed with snow, but were squishy in some spots and icy in others, so had to go slower. I guess that bugged my L knee because it was Peaky Blinders for the whole run. I realized that it still isn't a full year yet since my knee surgery, so I guess this is par for the course. Decided that my goal this year is to srengthen my running technique on trails/ in the woods and change from a 'road runner' to an orienteering runner. I'm looking forward to that, but aim to do it gradually so my knees
( and hips, and ankles, ... ) adjust properly.
Great day to be outside! 4 degrees C, with the clouds clearing towards late morning :)
