Running (LSD) 49:00 [3] 8.0 km (6:08 / km)
shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3

Wahoo! First longish run in ages, and it was perfect to do it along the SJAM winter trail. Yesterday's ski told of ideal conditions on the skate trail, so Francis and I headed out early this morning to take advantage of ideal running/skiing conditions before the poopy freezing rain comes in to wreck everything.
Beautiful, mild morning - no wind, and only a few other early Sat morning folk to greet as we went along. Francis reports classic tracks very good! I found the paths perfect for running, with just a bit of a slower go through the Kitchisippi Woods trails as they were a bit softer.
All in all, a very satisfying run. Worked on pushing off more from the balls of my feet when I felt the hip flexors getting sore. :)

Walking 50:00 [3] 3.5 km (14:17 / km)

Walked to Chapters and back with Sandra. Very nice sunny day!

XC skiing 45:23 [3] 8.0 km (5:40 / km)

Fantastic skate ski along the SJAM trails, repeating pretty much what Tash and I did on Monday's Snow-O. Took it easy after recouping from a virus; skiied the first 3 km withipout stopping, the took a few '30 sec grabs' along the rest of the 5 km. Didn't stop the watch for those, so pace recorded isn't really accurate. It felt SO good to get out there again. Path was excellent, hard-packed.

Hard core shovelling 37:00 [3]

Major snow moving at the side of the house, after the roofing dudes shovelled snow off the roof and plopped a big load of the stuff next to the fence. Also cleared the canoe of snow. New snow configurations approved by Hazel :)

Orienteering 1:19:23 [3] 8.0 km (9:55 / km)

Ski-O on the SJAM trails with the club. Tasha and I did the ShortAdvanced course (5.3 km ATCF), and had fun deaking in and out of trails. Francis ran the LA course and Andrew skies the same. Fantastic Family Day on the SJAM, with wonderful courses set by Mark and Anita - thank you so much! Had fun seeing club people on fat bikes (Randy and Anne), skiing, running, and snowshoeing. Beautiful sunny day!

Hard core shovelling 2:00:00 [4]

Totally crazy shovelling and roof-raking to remove way too much snow. Water in the kitchen!
